Mugwort Victorian Necklace

This handmade mugwort necklace with moonstone is inspired by intuition, dreams, and the quiet magic of medicinal plants. While I would never call myself an herbal expert, mugwort has always felt both powerful and deeply dreamy to me—protective, cleansing, and connected to intuition and the moon.

To complement the energy of the plant, I paired the botanical design with a luminous moonstone, a gemstone long associated with intuition, emotional clarity, and ethereal beauty. Together they create a poetic talisman inspired by nature, ritual, and inner knowing.

The mugwort leaves I first carve in wax and then cast in sterling silver with a dark oxidized patina, giving the necklace an organic, heirloom quality. At the center is a striking 20mm moonstone filled with glowing blue flashes that catch the light beautifully.
