In the Studio
I make each piece by hand in my studio in Asheville, North Carolina, working primarily through wax carving, casting, metalwork, stone setting, and a lot of experimentation.
Symbology grows out of my fascination with the natural world, ancient symbols, and the strange and beautiful things that exist between the earthly and the divine. I’m interested in jewelry as something more than adornment — a small object that can carry meaning, memory, protection, connection, or a sense of wonder.
Recently a friend made a little documentary about me and my work process in the studio, and what it's like to live in my little world.
