Hawthorn Branch Necklace

This handmade hawthorn branch necklace is a tribute to one of my favorite trees, rich with folklore, symbolism, and protective energy. Hawthorn has long been considered a guardian of the heart in traditional myth and herbal lore, associated with love, boundaries, and spiritual protection. Like roses, hawthorn trees carry a beautiful duality—soft blossoms paired with protective thorns.

I created this piece as a talisman for sensitive, open hearts—offering a sense of grounding, strength, and emotional protection while still honoring softness and receptivity.

The hawthorn branch I carve in wax and cast in sterling silver. Small gold fill drops, individually sawed and hammered, add warm contrast—like light held within the branch.
