Mugwort and Golden Drops Necklace

Inspired by the liminal, dreamlike space that mugwort is known to open, this handmade mugwort necklace is designed as a reminder to move a little more slowly, intuitively, and dreamily through the world.

Mugwort has long been associated with dreams, imagination, and heightened inner awareness. This piece is created as a wearable talisman for accessing that in-between space—where intuition, creativity, and subconscious insight can surface more easily.

The mugwort design I carve in wax and then cast in sterling silver. Small golden drops, individually sawed and hammered from gold fill, add warm contrast and a subtle shimmer detail, like sparks of light from the plant form.
