Handmade Scarab Wing Necklace

I'm so excited to share my new scarab design! In Egypt it was a symbol of renewal and rebirth. I have loved this symbol for a long time because my grandmother had many scarab brooches in her jewelry box collected down through our family. I wanted to create my own scarab that feels both modern and ancient. 

The pendant I carve and cast in sterling silver, it measures 2.25" wide by 1.5" tall. The chain can be order 16" or 18" long. It is oxidized sterling silver with a sturdy lobster clasp. The stone is a white topaz.
