Abalone Half Moon Earrings

Can you tell I'm obsessed with shell at the moment? These are so fun to wear, they feel modern and antique at the same time. And the color of abalone makes me so joyful! They are quite lightweight. Each shell is riveted with sterling silver ( I have to be very careful with this step so I don't burn the shell!) and finished with hammered gold drops and gold fill ear wires. Each earring is 2" long
